Are these templates really free?
Yes. Every template on this page is free to download as a Word document or a PDF, with no sign-up and no email required.
Can I sign these templates electronically?
In the US, most of them, yes. The ESIGN Act lets most contracts be signed electronically, but a few kinds of documents are excluded or need a notary, and each template page says when that applies.
Are the templates valid in every state?
They're written as general starting points, not state-specific forms. Rules for things like leases, vehicle sales and employment vary by state, so each page points to what you should check, and it's worth having a lawyer review anything important.
Is a template the same as legal advice?
No. The templates and guides are general information. SignWren is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
