Privacy Policy
This policy covers the SignWren website at signwren.com and its waitlist. SignWren is operated by Vasa Trend AI LLC (dba SignWren), 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States ("we", "us"). When the SignWren app launches, it will have its own privacy terms covering the documents you upload and send.
What do you collect?
When you join the waitlist we collect your email address and, if you choose to give them, your name and the kind of documents you expect to sign. We also record that you ticked the consent box, the wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you signed up from, and, when our server is configured for it, a scrambled version of your IP address made with a secret key (a keyed hash), which we use only to spot abuse such as automated sign-ups. We do not store your IP address itself with your sign-up. Because we hold the key, this is pseudonymous information rather than anonymous, and we treat it as personal information.
Like almost every website, our web server keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting. These are deleted automatically, normally within 14 days.
Do you use cookies or tracking?
We use two analytics services to understand how people find and use this site. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell or share what they collect for anyone's advertising.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) counts visits and shows which pages people read, where they came from, and roughly where they are (country or city level). It sets first-party cookies to tell new visits from returning ones. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, and Google explains how it uses data from sites like ours.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) records how visitors scroll, click and move around a page, and builds heatmaps and session replays so we can find confusing or broken parts of the site. It sets cookies to group page views into a visit. It masks text you type into forms, such as your email address, before anything is sent. Microsoft describes what it collects in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Neither service runs on our free tools pages (the signature generator and sign-a-PDF tool), so nothing about the files or signatures you work with there is sent anywhere. Blocking cookies or using a content blocker won't stop any part of this site from working. Fonts are served from our own server.
Why do you collect it?
To email you about early access, the launch and occasional product updates, which you asked for when you joined, and to understand what people want SignWren to handle. We rely on your consent for these emails, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who do you share it with?
We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf: our hosting provider, which runs the server this site and the waitlist sit on; Google and Microsoft, for the analytics described above; and, if we use one to send waitlist emails, an email service provider (currently MailerLite), which receives your email address and name when you sign up. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long do you keep it?
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we close the waitlist without launching, whichever comes first. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove your sign-up record from the waitlist within 30 days. Our email provider may keep your address on its unsubscribe list so you aren't emailed again by mistake.
What are my choices?
You can unsubscribe using the link in any email. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to hello@signwren.com from the address you signed up with. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have further rights under local law, and we'll honor requests made under those laws.
How do you protect it?
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), the waitlist is stored on a server that only we can access, and the sign-up form limits repeated attempts. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to the minimum.
Is this site meant for children?
No. SignWren is for businesses and adults, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Will this policy change?
If we change it, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use the information you've already given us, we'll email you first.
