About SignWren

SignWren is an electronic signature app for small businesses, freelancers and small teams, launching soon. It is being built so you can upload a PDF, place signature fields, send it to one or more people to sign on any device, and get back a sealed PDF with a full audit trail. Today the website offers free contract templates, e-signature guides and signing tools, plus an early-access waitlist. SignWren is not a law firm, does not give legal advice, and is not a notary service.

Why build another e-signature app?

Because for a lot of small businesses, signing is still the slowest part of closing a deal. The quote is ready in ten minutes, and then it sits in someone's inbox for a week because they need to print it, sign it, scan it and send it back. The big e-signature products fix that, but they're built for companies with a legal team and a procurement process, and priced like it.

We want the version a two-person business can set up over coffee: upload the file, send it, get it back sealed, with a clear record of who signed and when. No seat minimums for things you don't use, and nothing for the people you're sending to.

Who is behind SignWren?

SignWren is built by Suresh Ganapathy. Suresh is an enterprise platform architect who has spent his career on large-scale workflow and service-management systems, the kind where every approval, change and signature has to leave an audit trail someone can trust later. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

He writes the guides on this site, and each one lists the laws, regulations and official documentation it's based on, so you can check the details yourself.
